School Description:

 

This international school was founded in 1994 by its sister school in Singapore, as an independent proprietary, co-educational, English-language day school offering an international curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12 students from the expatriate community of Beijing. The 11,000 square meter campus is conveniently located near major expatriate residential areas in central Beijing, located just of the North of Third Ring Road, close to the Olympic Games Village.

2.        Active advocacy for participation in sports teams

 

3.        Good communication and inter-personal skills

 

4.        Willingness to spend time outside school hours (evenings and weekends) as necessary to attend and supervise events.

 

Job Description:

 

The Athletics Coordinator shall:

 

Actively promote and celebrate involvement of BISS students in the Athletics Programme

 

Arrange training and game schedules for all inter-school sports teams

 

Arrange and allocate coaches for the various inter-school sports teams

 

Design and procure sports uniforms for all inter-school sports teams

 

Organize presentations/meetings/assemblies

 

Maintain and update the BISS Coaches Handbook

 

Assist in construction of Athletics budget & supervise expenditures

 

Arrange for the hire of venues and referees, the transport to practices and games, procurement of trophies and payment of tournament fees

 

Liaise with the Athletic Directors (ADs) of other schools

 

Attend ISAC and ACAMIS ADs meetings as scheduled

 

Organize sports tournaments as taken on by BISS as part of its commitment to the sports organizations

 

Maintain records of all events and results

 

Disseminate relevant information to students, parents and staff in collaboration with Marketing Department

 

Attend all relevant meetings as scheduled

 

Use sound business procedures in constructing, ordering and administering budget allocations

 

Coordinate selection/evaluation of resources to meet the needs of the users

 

Serve as a resource person to coaches

 

Organize and/or deliver professional learning opportunities for coaches, as necessary

 

Maintain positive public relations with colleagues, students, parents, and the community

 

Salary and Benefit:

 

1.        25k-35k before tax, starting time: August
